An internet connection is not required to play Swipe Writer, however many of the features will be disabled without an internet connection.
For instance, you will not be able to make any in app purchases, get rewarded with items for watching an advertisement, or unlock and share achievements with your friends.
However, your progress will be tracked locally and Achievements that were unlocked while offline will be distributed when you sign back into your gaming account.
