Ensure your devices automatic backup settings are enabled through your device’s backup Service and ensure you connect your device to the internet periodically to synchronize your data to the cloud.
Depending on your device, see the following instructions for enabling automatic backup:
- Android – To turn on automatic backup storage, click here.
- Apple – To turn on iCloud Backup, click here.
Important: Progress cannot currently be transferred between Apple’s and Google’s backup services. For example, if your progress was backed up on an Android device using Google Backup, there is no guarantee that it can be restored on an iPhone. The same may apply when switching from iPhone to Android.
If automatic backup was not enabled, or if you are switching between Apple and Android, your previous progress may not be recoverable.
